It all starts with a dream

In “It all starts with a dream,” Devin Miles brings two icons of pop and everyday culture into play: Bugs Bunny, brash and energetic as ever, poses in front of a deep-blue Porsche 911 covered in paint splatters, like a performative sign of creative release. The sign in his hand carries the programmatic message of the title – not as a naïve utopia, but as tongue-in-cheek self-empowerment. The 911 stands not only for speed and style, but for an attitude to life that moves between rebellion, determination and the urban dream. Here Miles creates a contemporary iconography of new beginnings that combines pop charm with artistic gesture.
