In this work, Sabina Bockmühl transforms the motif of the cow into an almost psychedelic-looking visual world. The colour palette is exaggerated, garish and fluorescent – with neon pink, lime green, turquoise and a rich, shiny gold background. The cow appears as a creature somewhere between a pop icon, a mascot and a spiritual apparition.
